Welcome to 8th Grade Writing! This course is to be used in conjunction with 8th Grade Literature and 8th Grade Grammar to provide a comprehensive 8th Grade Language Arts curriculum.
All Lessons have printable workbooks in the “Materials” tab. This course is the textbook, the printable workbook is the student book to apply the concepts in this course. This workbook includes answer keys and pacing instructions.

Course Description:
This 8th grade writing course helps students become clear thinkers, skilled communicators, careful researchers, and faithful stewards of language. Students will strengthen paragraph and essay structure, develop mature sentence style, write personal and creative narratives, compose literary analysis, build persuasive and argumentative essays, conduct research, document sources, and produce a polished final writing project. Throughout the course, students will learn that words have power and must be used truthfully, wisely, beautifully, and responsibly under the lordship of Christ.
