Welcome to 8th Grade Grammar! This course is to be used in conjunction with 8th Grade Writing and 8th Grade Literature to provide a comprehensive 8th Grade Language Arts curriculum.
All Lessons have printable workbooks in the “Materials” tab. This course is the textbook, the printable workbook is the student book to apply the concepts in this course. This workbook includes answer keys and pacing instructions.

Course Description:
This 8th grade grammar course helps students move from basic grammar knowledge into mastery-level sentence control, usage, punctuation, editing, and style. Students will review and strengthen the parts of speech, sentence structure, verbs, pronouns, phrases, clauses, punctuation, capitalization, spelling, and vocabulary while learning to apply grammar directly to writing, speaking, literary analysis, and everyday communication. Throughout the course, students will learn that language is a gift from God and should be used with clarity, truth, order, wisdom, and love.
